FOR THE LOVE OF ROCK!

This fun-loving family envisioned turning their stark 1,350 sq. ft. unfinished basement in Roswell into an entertaining area which reflects their edgy-yet-refined personality.

They wanted the space to be kid- and adult-friendly with comfortable seating, a media room with space for gaming, dancing, and karaoke, a back-lit bar where you can control the lighting to suit any mood, a home gym, and luxurious guest suite.

Dark gray and black built-ins and bar, provide a sophisticated backdrop, which is echoed in the dining table, swing tables, and an armless chesterfield-inspired sectional sofa that easily separates to provide space for dancing. Vibrant accent colors, inspired by poster prints of their favorite rock band 311, are reflected in the ice blue lounge seating and counter stools, with throw pillows and artwork in purple and fuchsia tones to flow seamlessly with the main living areas of the home. The lounge banquette wraps around an existing support column, and provides an additional conversation space from the bar and dining area.

This multi-functional space offers a sense of wonder, excitement, and happiness, while providing comfort and respite for this family and their friends.
